There is some redundancy in questions 1 and 2 on p. 29 of Critical Thinking, Reading, and Writing, and so you may choose to answer one or the other, not both.

The odds are that we won’t get to Chapter 2 of Critical Thinking, Reading, and Writing until Wednesday.  If so, I’ll collect your responses to the questions on pp. 71 and 72 then.
